I'm a central american student. My school is the toughest and most prestigious school in my country. Because of this my grades aren't that awesome, mostly A's but so far 2 (out of 9) have been B-. They will be better by the time I have to apply, I am almost certain all As. My school has had a nobel prize winner and many previous students (at least 10) of my school have attended MIT. I wonder if they take the school into account (because of my not-so-good grades). I also attended the central american math olympiad last year and will be participating in this year's IMO, so basically, what are my chances of getting in? also, does my school affect this probability? I will get good SATs (I've done practice tests). Thanks in advance

They definitely take school into account, and there’s nothing wrong with a couple of B’s.
