9 hrs

5ish hrs

it's called pageaddict. It's helpful, because I can look down and see that I've wasted five hours on the computer on a certain day, and I'll force myself to go outside and do something productive...you can set it not to time certain sites (ie school stuff or whatever)

wow... I just added that, and I think I'll be spending a lot less time on the computer. it's so easy to lose track of time... now I'm going to feel bad about the amount of time I'm on here.

a) 9 hours a day at work (I'm always searching something or downloading some database or looking up how to do something). Huge amounts of time on nethack.alt.org (6-8 hours), but only if I'm playing an ascendable game (otherwise, more like 1 hour/day). Maybe 1 or 2 hours at various random sites across the internet. I'm also idle on IRC a lot.

And somehow, I still manage to have a life.

Does pageaddict just keep track of how long you are looking at websites? Often I keep pages up...when I'm not there.

^yeah, I do that. I usually have around 4 screens going. I can't tell yet what it tracks though.

It times out after a certain amount of time (like 60 seconds or something) of inactivity, or if you switch to another program.

I read their website and they said that sometimes inaccurate results occur if you are away from the computer long enough.

I've found it to be quite close

summer w/o summer school: 12
summer w/ summer school: around 6?
regular school: around 4-5

it's kind of bad for me. I study and half-way through I'm on aim or searching something. It's gotten to the point where I have to pack up the laptop so I'm not on as much.

forgot the hours
school year-2 a day.
summer time-3-5 hours.

i hate how the internet took over my grades last year. i'm not sure how much i was on...but it was more than i should have been. not gonna let that happen this year though.

too much.

and it doesn't help that i do my homework on the desk my laptop sits on.
