Time

On average, how many hours do you spend studying and doing homework per day?

I’ll just give you a schedule of my day today:

4:20 AM: Woke up
4:25 AM - 6:30 AM: Tied loose ends on my homework
6:30 AM - 7:30 AM: Mom took me to a breakfast bakery where my friends and I had beakfast
7:40 AM - 8:20 AM: Going to random teachers for help (lol)
8:25 AM - 3:30 PM: School
3:30 PM - 4:00 PM: (Usually I have a club meeting, but it was removed for today) With English teacher for help on a paper (She’s a hard grader…)
4:00 PM - 6:30 PM: Library working on the research paper
6:30 PM - 9:00 PM: Break
9:00 PM - 11:45 PM: Continous homework
11:50 PM = BED! (At a decent time tonight too!) :)

Homework: Probably about 5 hours a day.
Studying: Never. I only have one class that tests. So I guess a few hours the night before, but we only have 3 tests.

I’m not an advocate for studying  I think that if you do your homework you’ll be fine lol.

So 0 hours studying for me, but like 4 hours of homework.

^^^Wow, you must be a morning person haha

abut 4-5 hours nightly for 5 AP classes

Homework: Meant to take 2.5 hours I do it as fast as possible (out of necessity and at this point sportsmanship) which means I usually take 75 - 90 mins.

Studying: Nope… well not for school at least, I do study a fair amount for Olympiad stuff.

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day…

I’m supposed to spend 50 minutes per class but I don’t.

I usually have a club/sport so I don’t get back home till around 4. Take an hour nap. Chill for a bit, eat dinner. Chill some more, make coffee. Start homework at eight, end at whatever haha. Of course, I don’t spend ALL my time on homework…facebook just makes me too inefficient to get it done fast. So it is around 3-4 hours of “homework time”

Still, when I need to do something reallly important, like my college essay, I just ditch facebook and power through.

I’m a senior though

That doesn’t sound too bad:) I’m not sure how long it will take me. I finally got my remaining books in the mail today. As of right now it hasn’t taken me too long, but I’m sure that’s subject to change.

i take like an hour for daily homework, then i start cramming to tests/quizes or catching up on major assignments. I like to leave other subjects and focus on the one that has a test coming soon. I’m cramming to a chem/statistic test tomarrow, and then SAT 2 physics+math on Sat. Not looking forward to it.

Is it a good idea to pull semi-all nighters before tests?

^No, it actually makes you do worse:/ Study as much as you can right now to avoid staying up all night. Good luck!:)

6:00-6:05 AM: Wake up and stare at the ceiling in my room
6:05-7:00 AM: Shower, get dressed, eat breakfast, and catch the bus
7:00-7:25 AM: Bus ride to school
7:25-7:45 AM: Hang out with friends
7:45-2:57 PM: School
2:57-3:20 PM: Either have a club meeting or wait for the school bus to show up and take me home
3:20-4:00 PM: Have a snack, facebook, and watching Jeopardy
4:00-5:30 PM: Homework
5:30-6:00 PM: Dinner
6:00-7:00 PM: Back to homework
7:00-7:30 PM: Break
7:30-9:30ish PM: Study and watch TV
9:30-10:30 PM: Go to bed

2-3

This week I am averaging like… 9 lolz.

Like my eyes feel weird. So fatigued. Thank goodness for monday (Early release Monday… I mean, really? What will we accomplish in that.) day weekend. I can get caught up and relax

Glad to see I’m not the only one with longgggg days of constant stuff to do

i need to start waking up ealier. I wants say that i’ll wake up at 6 tomarrow monring to study for tests, but i’m always like f it, and sleep then like 7 30

^Haha, I meant to wake up everyday at 5 or 5:30. Today I woke up at 6:30 like every other day this year.

I woke up at 7am. I had a counselor meeting with about 10 other people and they all had woken up at 10am LOL. I want to wake up at 6 tomorrow:)
