How much time have you spent on your essay?

<p>I think that I may be spending too much time on my essays. I am afraid that I am reading "too much into things". After reading my long, common application essay several 100 times, it makes less sense to me! Does anyone else feel this way? </p>

<p>So far I have written three completely different versions of the essay and its driving me crazy!</p>

<p>And to answer my original question in the post.. I have spent about 11 hours on the big essay alone.</p>

<p>11 hours! I've spent about 15 minutes. But I think yours, because of all your scrutinizing, will end up quite good in the end. I plan to spend a lot of time on mine, just haven't gotten to it yet.</p>

<p>Yea I'd say around 11 hrs total too...</p>

<p>I spent a total of 16 hours. Timed it lol. I rewrote my short essays 6 times each and rewrote the long answer ones 4 times.</p>
