How much will this hurt me?

As a freshman, I only took 1 honors course.
As a sophomore, I only took 2 honors courses.

I turned myself around junior year, and took 3 APs and 2 honors, a very rigorous schedule in my school. I've managed top grades in these tougher courses. My senior year courseload will be considered "most rigorous".

How much will my earlier weak class choices hurt me?

The schools i'm interested in rank from around 25-40 USN.

Relax, you'll be fine.

I think that colleges focus on how you improve during the four years, especially the junior and senior years. The earlier years would probably affect you, but I don't think you should worry about that too much.

It won't hurt you at all. Don't stress.

The rigor of coursework is assessed in the context of what YOUR school offers, so it's hard for us to tell how difficult your first two years of classes were. And as stated before, colleges will look at the increased difficulty in your schedule positively.

any more opinions? I just finished scheduling with my counselor today and I'm taking 5 APs and 1 honors course next year.
