when I apply to top universities next year? AP Lit, AP Biology, AP Calculus, Spanish 4 Honors, and Marketing. FYI, my gpa and SAT are slightly above average for the Ivies, that I am looking at, so I am hoping this "weak" schedule won't be my downfall.

Yeah, so, will this schedule lead to my rejection from the top schools? My schedule can't really be that much more rigorous.. I have a chance to add AP Psych but other than that I can't fit in any more APs. I tried to take AP Physics but the school did not let me take out lunch.

No one thing will keep you out of college. Why Marketing? Is it a requirement? Could you substitute something more academic such as history?

How is that weak? Marketing might not be the strongest class in the world, but you also don't want to kill yourself with all APs. Take AP Psych if you are interested in it and can do well. If not, don't bother.

I need a business class to graduate... I requested to be placed in the AP Gov and Politics class but there was not enough students who wanted to take it... I already have taken AP USHI and II though. Oh yeah, thanks for the replies.

If you have to take it to graduate then you're fine. Thats a tougher schedule than I took senior year.

thats not a weak schedule at all, you're going to be fine!

You're taking 3 AP classes and 4 hours of a foreign language. Come on now, you're really asking if that's too easy?

have you taken chem or physics earlier?

Honors Physics 11th, Honors Chem 10th, and AP Chem 11th.

I think your schedule is just fine. Adding AP Psych is fine, to put a social science class in there, but that's just me.

good decision by your school. C'mon, it's lunch. Even if the food at your school was that bad, lunch is a time where you can relax, socialize, reenergize for the afternoon, and at worst, get caught up on homework you didn't do the night before :) good luck Ruil.

My god, I hope you aren't actually serious? ...4 AP's = weak?

The sheer # of AP's isn't that big of an importance, there really isn't a big difference between 3 and 4, 4 and 5, even 3 and 5 Ap's.

Invoyable: I am only taking 3 but yeah I am pretty much set on my schedule since I will have to focus on my essays and college applications next year as well as my senior courses..thanks for all the replies.

@invoyable- really? i thought the actual scores on your APs don't really matter much except in class placement. and anyway, by the time APs roll along, you'll already be admitted to whatever college.

Weak? You should see MY schedule. 2 APS + 1 Regular + 3 Business/(Joke Classes)
