How much would YOU pay for guitar lessons?

<p>i'd pay $20 for a half hour from a qualified instructor. This is just because I already know all of the basic stuff and I'd like to dig deeper into guitar theory. Most people on my floor don't know this stuff yet.</p>

<p>Just for comparison, my D plays the accordion. When she spent a year in New York City, she took lessons from a teacher who was a Julliard graduate and respected professional musician--he charged $75 per hour. It all depends on what you want to gain from the lessons and also on the market conditions where you happen to be.</p>

<p>i give flute lessons, and I charge 30 an hour. seems to be pretty average, I would think you could get atleast 20 an hour.</p>
