I do it every few months. Sometimes I also use google to search for words with my initials in them. haha.

Right after my hourly self-admiration session in the mirror

LMAO. I find this really funny. Hmm, I guess I do it every once in a while just out of curiosity.

^Same here. It’s mostly curiousity for me.

I just insert myself into the famous alumni section of wiki articles and hope it sticks.

I did it once, a few years ago. Apparently, I had died a few days prior in a different state. 0.0

Needless to say, I haven’t run another search.

I’ve never done that; I’ve had friends search for my name in my presence, but that’s about it.

Yes, I do. Unforunately, I share the name of a popular male stripper.

I’m a girl. -___-

Yeah, but it always comes up with the same thing. I mean it’s me, which is cool, but it’s kinda boring.

I do it reasonably often, but I called it paranoidsearch.

lol, and what about searches for your own CC name?

(that was actually the intent of my OP).

^ Lol yeah I thought it was referring to usernames, so when CoffeeEnthusiast said that there was a stripper named after her, I was confuzzled.

I’ve “egosearched” like twice before, and the result is usually just from the forums of the games I play/played. So, pointless.

Lawl, that wouldn’t really be very useful. The only place I use HarryJones is on this website.

sn: I just did it for the first time ever. As expected, came up with “definition,” “wiktionary,” that sort of thing.

For my real name, it’s mostly a bunch of LinkedIn profiles of ppl who aren’t me. But the second result on google for my name IS actually something about me… The annoying thing is google is like: “Did you mean: xyz” b/c it seems to think my name should be spelled differently. Grrrrr.

I hardly ever do it, but when I do it’s usually with my friends when we all search our names for no reason. The last time I did it was a long time ago, I can’t remember, at least 5 months ago.
