How often is college confidential wrong

How often does CC consensus show to be incorrect after score reports?

Has anyone expected to get ~3 wrong and found out that they got only 1 wrong?

Very often.

they can’t even come to a consensus all the time, so i wouldnt worry!

Happens with a few questions, but for the most part CC is right. Most of the members are high scorers (2000+), and there is a large number of members. There are a couple questions on every SAT that CC splits on, and these are the ones that are usually wrong.

Reading is usually the hardest because people have different interpretations, but math and writing are usually spot on.

CC Critical Reading compilation is almost always right! Might be a disputed question or two.

I agree with some of the above posters. They are always right on the math and writing questions (few exceptions to writing questions with error IDs, very few)

But there is always a great dispute on CR. Sentence Completions are usually accurate, but I wouldn’t count on it with the PB questions.

Thanks guys. My only worry is critical reading… I just have a few answers that I disagree with on the compiled list and I was wondering what are the chances that some of the PBs are wrong? Has anyone had the experience of finding out that you were right all along, despite the consensus?

@SourApple, when nearly ALL CC users agree upon a single answer, it is unlikely that it will be wrong, since CC is full of nerds, who are rarely wrong when they collectively agree upon something. However, that does not eliminate the possibility that it might be wrong.

Depends on what answers. Most of the CR answers are agreed upon now, but there are like 3-4 that are still being debated. I think the only answers that are truly debatable atm are the methodology vs. philosophy answers.

Yeah… I see. But even though CCers are very intelligent, there are always the questions that only 20% get on every other test and CCers might not have gotten
them.

Also, does anyone have the actual passages to the CR?
