How old are you guys?

Hey!

I was just wondering if I would be one of the youngest on campus if I were accepted.. Even if I am not this is more of a general question and not specifically dealing with Princeton.. But what's the average age like of college undergrads in the States?

I am 16 right now, would that make me one of the youngest? Would I be able to get into bars and stuff on campus? :P...

How old are all of you?

I am 18. (That's because I got held one grade down when I came to the US)

17, but I havn't gotten carded here in Baltimore in the last year...

I wouldn't want to be younger than everyone though, I love high school!

I am 18 as well. I was held back from entering kindergarten, because I missed the cut-off. I have a late birthday, month-wise.

so do I, jacquesier. October

I’m 16. Turning 17 in thirteen days.

Expect I did not come from Poland. Though if you didn't know you would think I live in Poland. So many people in my town have Polish names. Bartkowski, Zamanski, Lewandowski... I swear half the town must be Polish.

what town/state do you live in?

I'm 16 too. (17 in May.)

I'm 16....17 in January.

17.........

17 since september

17, will be 18 next year in September.

17...turning 18 in July. Graduated when I was 16

17 turn 18 in jan

Pittsburgh... I swear our city mascot is the pierogee. You may think it is something else, but that is just for show...

Man, there are alot of young kids here... 16, 17... I can barely recall those days...

Why would anyone want to graduate early?

^^ I wanted to graduate early.. but now that I have been through high school like a normal kid would, I seriously wouldn't have wanted it any other way. The friends you spend time with, the fun that you have, and the experiences you go through are completely irreplaceable by anything, let alone graduating 1 or 2 years earlier.

I agree. I only know a few folks that graduated early, and they are all socially maladjusted, and weird.

To correct your misconception, CityKnight, I'm NOT a weird maladjusted guy.

I really regretted graduating early though...I just felt I could have learnt more, had a better life in general (getting to do more ECs that I would have enjoyed doing, doing some more sports etc.) Thats what prompted me to take a year off.
