NU is a top university in computer science area. in Csrankings:computer science rankings NU is top 14 in the world but NWU is just No.52，This gap is too big

NEU has made great progress in the past 12 years，NEU has become a Top50 university
Still not in the same tier as Northwestern.
but in computer science area NEU ranked No.13 and NWUranked No.30 from 2011 to 2021 in CSrankings which is a metrics-based ranking of top computer science institutions around the world
How selective are Northwestern Uni and Northeastern Uni? I can’t seem to find the class profile on their sites. Thank you!
This was the original post in 2009. No mention of CS. In 2009 and 2021 Northwestern is more difficult to get accepted to than Northeastern.
