my music teacher submitted a supplementary rec to my early school via snail mail, but I forgot to remind her to write my common app ID and DOB on the top corner. I'm 100% sure my teacher put my full name in the recommendation. my transcript and one secondary school teacher rec have been submitted already, so will they just add the supplementary rec to my file (even though there's no common app ID, DOB listed)?? im so worried.

btw i havent submitted my online application yet(due nov. 1), if that makes a difference

bump since post got relegated to bottom

/bumpppp 10char

is there another place I should ask this question?

Call the admissions office of your early school and ask!

Call or email your admissions rep at the college and ask if there is anything you can do to be sure the recommendations lands in your file. More than likely the school will figure it out.

If your name is on it, it won’t be that difficult for them to match it unless you have a common name. Then, they can tell where it was mailed from and then link it to runningforlife, your town, your state.

It’ll be fine. Collges process millions of docs. It’s not that hard to file docs correctly.

@T26E : That’s great to hear! My last name is very very uncommon haha
Thanks to everyone who responded! :)
