How should I go about notifying a change in schedule

<p>I'm withdrawing from a class and I need to notify my school. How should I go about doing so?</p>

<p>Should it be brief and concise, or should I include a brief reason to my withdrawal from a class. </p>

<p>Or</p>

<p>Should I go in-depth (2,3 paragraph) and talk about why I had to withdrawal from my class.</p>

<p>I don't think adcoms would like to read something long. I'm basing it purely on speculation. </p>

<p>Can somebody shine a light on this topic. I've looked around and most thread deal with whether to notify or not. Not how to notify.</p>
