Hey guys, I'm being forced to attend a certain school (Baylor) instead of my school of choice (U of Mich), because of my parents religious affiliation which I do not share. I have decided this is not what I want for my education and was wondering how soon I can transfer. They only allowed me to apply to Baylor (and I got accepted to their honors college +15k merit), so unfortunately I am locked in to attending for the fall semester. Can I get out as early as the spring semester as a transfer (at least to u of m)? thanks for the help

BAMP please help

If you go to the UMichigan Admissions website, Transfers, deadlines, you will see which colleges accept spring transfers.

Are you going to be able to pay for Michigan if your parents withdraw support because of the transfer?
You should be able to do so pretty soon though.

As said above, you can transfer as soon as you want to…or as soon as the college will allow you. But make sure that you can pay for it without your parents, look into loans and try to fine the best you can.
