How sound is being a Education Technologist?

I got my degree in communications, found that I have a passion for teaching about computers.

Ideally, I want to teach community college, how do I get there?

I'm thinking of getting a MA degree in Stanford's LDT program or Georgia Tech's Human centered computing.

I want to make educational apps to improve learning for high-risk kids, get microsoft certified, work on iOS and windows phone apps.

I'm unemployed right now.....gotta find a job to help raise funds. Or is there research fellowships out there that will help me finance my education?

I think the biggest thing right now is finding a way to pay for a graduate degree.

Please help?

Two friends of mine worked teaching computers at a community college, without a college degree. You didn’t need one if you were teaching a business/vocational class.
They subsequently were hired by Vulcan.
You don’t need an advanced degree to work with computers.

I’m interested in this subject too.
