<p>UChicago has been making a big push to strengthen the biological sciences and medical school (or re-claim their glory from back in the day.)</p>
<p>There has been a lot of construction of labs and science buildings. The hospital actually makes money these days, so it has helped fund some of the improvements.</p>
<p>They just hired a top Japanese scientist:
