How strong is Wellesley's alumni network?

<p>Hi everyone,</p>

<p>I'm currently a sophomore at Colgate University and although I don't like the school that much, I have been held back from transferring because of the strong alumni network here. However, I honestly don't want to spend another two years at Colgate. Thus I've been playing around with the idea of transferring to another top LAC (I'm an international student so I need the generous financial aid policy at top LAC's). As I also want to find a job after college, the school I want to transfer to has to have strong alumni network and be one of the "target schools" where companies conduct on-campus recruiting. Colgate is excellent in this since every semester there are a lot of big names coming here to recruit. I just want to know if Wellesley's alumni network is as strong? Do many companies come to Wellesley's campus to recruit? Thanks a lot.</p>

<p>I don't know much about recruiting efforts on campus (i-banking is well-recruited--beyond that, I'm not sure), but the alumnae network is very strong. There are alumnae nearly anywhere you go, and I've found the network to be extraordinarily helpful.</p>
