MBA school has been s long running tradition in my family. My own father attended Northwestern, his brother Wharton. One of my cousins is currently at Booth and the other at Fuqua. Another one just graduated recently from Stern. However, I have made it my goal to attend Stanford law school for ip law. I was a late bloomer in high school and didn't work to my full potential because of poor work ethics. I want to change that and prove to be successful in my undergrad. I will be attending Syracuse this fall for engineering. What do I need to do to make my dream a reality? I saw kids I grew up with my whole life get into Harvard, Cornell, Brown, Princeton this year. I am going to have my second opportunity by being able to attend a great law school. What do I need to do?

anyone? bump :/

You’ll maximize your chances by doing as well as you can in school.

Stanford Law School is second only to Yale in selectivity. Your goal is to be one of the 385 top candidates for law school in the United States the year you apply.

The good news is that even if you fall somewhat short of your goal, you should benefit from the attempt.

When you say IP law, are you planning on going into patent law?
