I plan to appeal my rejections because it's worth a shot.
I won't get in if I don't appeal so I might as well.

Does anyone know how the appeal process goes?

Someone told me that Stanford rejection letters contained a strict no appeal clause; none of the schools I got rejected from said anything about appeals.

So...
any ideas/tips?

Thanks

Most schools don’t have a formal appeals process. If you want to appeal the decision, you have to just contact them and request that they reconsider (hopefully with some new information in hand that would convince them to actually do so).

Does it have a time limit?

Again, not being a formal process it doesn’t have a formal time limit either. The longer you wait, the smaller your already low chances get though.

Has this EVER Worked for anyone??? I have seen some people get off a waitlist…

But going from rejection to admission, that I have not seen…

I have a feeling it won’t work at top tier schools. Like, 99.9999% sure Harvard/Yale etc. will give you some line about it being a “competitive pool” and how you were still an “outstanding applicant.” But kudos to you for giving it a try :P
