I’m Currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Commerce from a college in Bangalore,India. I want to apply for a masters program to a college in the States.All college in the US require students to have a 4 year undergraduate degree but Commerce Colleges in India offer only three year degrees. Is there anything i can do to make for the 1 year or how do i go about this ?
There are a few colleges that accept a three year degree but you must have a first class in your degree for that to count.
I’d recommend you make a list of universities that offer your desired graduate program (atleast 30-40). Start sending mail to their respective departments or grad advisors asking them if they accept a 3 year degree. You might get some who do. Some will ask you to get your mark sheet evaluated (if its wes then be happy, if not then bad luck). After that its pretty simple and straight like other courses.
