Transfer to US College

Hello Friends,

I am new overhere, i joined coz i need some opinion & advise for my transfer admission to US.

I am graduate student in B.B.A in india , i am thinking of going back to states and take admission in 4th year of Bachelors there. I have done 3 yrs of course in india and have graduated but i don't want to go for Master's admission in USA either i want to opt for direct admission to 4th year of Bachelor program in Business over there. Because Bachelor graduation from college in US will add more advantage to my resume and career outlook. I know WES considers 3 yr Bachelors degree equivalent to Bachelors in US, but what i have to do to take admission in upperdivision class in US college. I have few colleges updated to my knowledge , they have integrated program which helps to take direct admission to Masters in business with waiver of GMAT. As i want to pursue that...

Can you guyz consider my options or advise me on the above for direct admission to 4th year for bachelors in US.

Moreover i am a permanent resident of United states, but i did my college in india and now willing to go back to states.

Thanks

My understanding is that you cannot enrol just for the senior year of undergrad. But if you have a 3 year Bachelor’s degree from India and wish to enrol in a Grad School then you need to do an additional one year degree Program for eligibility. This 1 year program cannot be done in isolation, can only be done if you enrol for the Master’s program.

Well i am permanent resident of US, so i waive off 1 year can enroll in Master program, but my question is i wanted enroll in bachelors degree in US in 3rd - 4th year of study as i want do bachelors in US college , though i have Bachelors from india can they consider my 3 year credit and allow me to join in 4th year of Undergrad program in US.

Why don’t you ask the college that you are interested in directly? They will be able to answer it better.

By B.B.A…do you mean bachelors in business admin. As far as I know, you will need to apply for undergrad in the USA. They will then give you certain credit transfers, based on completed coursework in India. It depends on the quality of program you were in and what university you are applying here in the States. So yes, narrow down the list of places you want to go to, talk to the admission office. Also if you are a permanent resident, I think you need to be actually living here unless you have special permission. So might be good to talk to colleges once you get here. Make sure to get all your transcripts from you current university.

I used to visit US every year to keep my residency of United States

The following link will give you an idea and answer some of your questions.

[The Berkeley Full-Time MBA Program - Academics](<a href=“Full-Time MBA Program | Berkeley Haas”>Full-Time MBA Program | Berkeley Haas)

“Applicants with only a 3-year bachelor’s degree do not meet the requirement for admission and are not as competitive compared to candidates with 4-year degrees. Therefore, to be competitive, applicants would need to complete a master’s degree (2 years after your bachelor’s degree) or other acceptable degree. If you are interested in applying to the Berkeley MBA program, we suggest that you complete an application. Eligibility with regard to the degrees equivalent to a US bachelor’s degree cannot be determined in advance of filing an application. The Graduate Division reserves the right to review the official academic records of all applicants whose undergraduate degrees were earned outside the US to determine whether the academic credentials presented for a foreign institution are comparable to the US bachelor’s degree.”
