Originally I had signed up for only the June ACT, but then went and registered for the April test on a whim. I did really well on that one, and don't want to have to take it again in June. I got a 35, and it's more likely I'll get a lower score on the second one.

Do I just not show up in June? I don't care about a refund, I just don't want to take the test. All the information I've found has been very vague, including the ACT website. And if I don't show up, will it still count like I took the test twice?

Thanks.

“Once you have submitted your registration to ACT, by any method, it cannot be cancelled.”
“If you decide you do not want to test on another test date, your basic registration fee and any additional fees (such as late fee or test center change fee) are nonrefundable. If you do not test, no score reports will be sent.”

So, you just do not show up and do nothing – that should be fine :)

Yes, you should just not show up. It will not count as one more test, and no scores will be reported. I think, however, that within a week or two after the test (like in the SAT), you may still change the test date (for a small fee) to take it another month if you want…
