How to channel my passions for Princeton

<p>In regards to school specific stuff: undergrad research / independent work and fulfilling the idea that goes something like “Princeton in the nation’s service; Princeton in the service of all nations” are pretty important for our administration at least.</p>

<p>Yes, of course you should be competitive, I would just recommend trying to paint a semi-specific picture of yourself (if you know what I mean). As in, focus in on only one or two things in the essays that are particularly meaningful rather than trying to sound too “broad”.</p>

<p>I see what you mean by that I think. Btw-I know some of my “school” EC’s would look like a laundry list if I don’t explain what I actually do in them. Is there a place on the app where I can explain that? I don’t want to jam that all in the essay, because like you said, I want to focus on only a few things in those.</p>
