I recently got admission into a boarding school which has 2 computers for about 18 students for internet access and video gaming ( only cs)
how do i convince the principal to allow the students to start bringing their own laptops and xbox ones?
for grades 4-8 a huge room is shared by 18 people and grade 9-12 a twin sharing system is used so how do i covince my principal to allow us to bring laptops and electronic gadgets?
The probability that an accepted student will convince the administration to change one of the school’s policies is zero.
There are plenty of other things to occupy time than video games. You will be fine!
I am fascinated that the OP has taken the time to register for a CC account for the first time so that he could post this question
At my kids’ boarding schools, all kids are required to have their own laptop.
You will have so much to do that the sheer notion of relaxation through scheduled button pressing brings forth a wave of anxiety only more work can surf. Do not venture outside the path of the common good. You can be the oddball like me who plows through homework quicker than the rest, but in the environment of a prep school, your intellectual curiosity will blossom into a mania.
You won’t want to be playing video games… you’re going to want to code instead if you get the time. BS fosters the natural curiosity to learn! Please, for the love of all that is good… don’t spend your time playing video games when you have a whole campus to enjoy and wide range of opportunities to explore!
