Can a moderator or admin help me delete a thread of mine?

They won’t let you. I tried once (because I felt as if I gave out too much personal info, came back less than 24 hours later to edit, couldn’t, and asked for it to be deleted). I guess deleting threads “ruins the integrity of the site” although my thread only ever ended up getting one answer that was not even helpful, it was just rude. I had to make a new account because of this.
