Hey, I apologize if this is a dumb question, but this is my first year applying to boarding schools, and I’m pretty in the dark about the acceptance process. Will the decisions be posted online or mailed to us? I applied through Gateway to Prep Schools so will they post it there? Thanks in advance!
depends on the school; some email (Hotchkiss, Exeter), some post on gateway (Andover), some post on their own admissions portals (Choate). most schools do not email a letter unless you have been accepted. hope this helps!

An email will most likely be sent to you from every school you applied to detailing how admissions decisions will be sent out as @ThomasBr recently explained the methods differ depending on school.
