<p>Your high school guidance counselor likely knows about local scholarships. Look on the GC webpags of your high school. Some GCs list them there.</p>
<p>Be sure to note whether the scholarship is just for one year…that can be an issue if you need scholarship money to pay for all 4 years of college. Many/most private scholarships are “one time only” and for incoming freshmen only.</p>
