I am going to take AP World History this coming school year as a sophomore. Although I have summer homework, I wanted to do some self-studying this summer to get a head start. Besides using the Barrons or Princeton Review books, what do you recommend doing that isn’t so time consuming? Thanks!

I like to watch History channel, it is fun, plus you learn a lot! Discovery Channel wouldn’t hurt either!!!

History Channel rarely has really good history shows anymore. It’s all stuff like “American Pickers” or something. I suggest googling “documentaries online” to find a bunch of good websites where you can watch documentaries for free. They’re actually really helpful.

Get the Barrons flashcards, take 5 or so at random and pull them out during the day when you have a free moment.

Yo could get the 5 ways to a 5 ap book. Just get the one that has the like 300 questions. Heard they were good. I used 3 study resources. :P

Buy the Stearns AP World Book and read it. That’s all we really did in class, and I got a 5. The book is jammed with information and essay thesis statements. It’s also not that bad of a read as well.

Didn’t take the class learned the material in three days after taking the euro exam and am still waiting on my results but my friend got a 4 and I’m expecting a 5!
