Hi there, I am currently applying to Mount Holyoke College ED1 in November. I guess I am looking for some guidance on how to get into MHC from current students or alums. I have a relatively good GPA and I have many unique extracurriculars that I have been doing for quite a long time.

Hi there! Aside from just stats, one thing I think is very important for Mount Holyoke is to show passion towards a specific cause. If you can demonstrate that in community service or your essays I think that would help a lot. Of course, this is just from my outside perspective as a student. It would also might be helpful to get an interview if you are able.
I was told by an admissions officer who visited my school last year to focus on the supplemental essay since applicants tend to skimp out on it. I personally believe my essays were the strongest part of my application (my ECs were meh and my grades/scores were average for the school), and seeing that I got in, her advice seems to be accurate. Good luck!
We were just there today for tour + info session (D20 really liked it, much better than Smith which surprised me) and the admission officer said exactly the same thing that @LeopardFire reported above.
I felt this exact same way! I visited both schools and I like MHC significantly better.
In addition to showing passion for your studies, I would figure out a way to let the College know that you REALLY want to go to Mount Holyoke. Perhaps identifying a particular course of study that you want to participate in would be a good way to indicate your enthusiasm. By applying early decision, you have effectively done that anyway. I did that many years ago and never looked back. I loved my four years there and would attend again if I had the chance.
