How to get more consistent scores? And even a 35/36?

So I'm taking the ACT next week, and I've done quite a few practice tests (5-10) and all the ones from the booklets that the ACT gives out every year.

My scores vary a lot, however. Whenever I take tests from McGraw Hill's 10 practice tests, my English scores are a lot lower (30-31), but I've heard that they make really bad tests and I've found a lot of mistakes in them.

In every section except for math, I have scored between 30-36, but I usually score between 32-34 (in Math it's usually higher).

What can I do to get more consistent scores? Should I find a lot more tests online and do those, and try to do them in small periods of time? I also have used tests from my sister that I could go over, or at least work on reading the passages quickly.

Also, any tips for test day? How to avoid dosing off?

Thanks for any help

Simply do more tests and try different sources. My DD has gone through 6-7 books with over 20 timed practice tests until she got consistently 35 in a few months. Then she got 35 at her first ACT test.
