Hey everyone. I have to take state ACT testing on Tuesday. I need improvement help.

Every time I take English I consistently score 30's. I always make 2 dumb mistakes, so I think I can get a 32. Any simple suggestions to improve?

My Reading score is incredibly inconsistent. It literally depends on what the passages are about. I took two of them today. My first was a 25, my second was a 32. They were both from the 1296 PR book. Any ideas on how to be more consistent?

Math is always around a 25-26. I'm working on getting that up.

My Science is always around a 25. Any ideas how to improve on that?

My ultimate goal is a 29-30. I'll settle for a 28. I feel like I can do awesome, I just need to keep on practicing.

Thank you SO much for you help. You guys are always great.

How is your math?? Do you find yourself running out of time a lot?? The first step is to find out why you are getting the scores you are. So, do you know why you get these scores?

Yah work on math first and once you get that up on a consistent basis you should worry about reading. If you improve your math i’m sure you can achieve a 30.

Time is never an issue. The test feels so easy, theres just stuff I don’t know (contradictory, I know haha). But at home I’ll get a 25-26 in 40 mins, but I don’t feel like spending 20 extra minutes that I could be spendings on something else slowly working my way through the last 20 getting them right.

well it’s good that time is NOT an issue, but with that do you find yourself making stupid mistakes. Try to study math or english. If you can get either of those (both would be AWESOME) above a 30, you will be fine.
For math, do all of the easy questions you can first and skip the hard questions, then come back and do the questions you skip. Each question is worth the same, so try to nail all of the easy questions.
For English, just do a couple sections and look at all of the explanations to the answers (yes, even the ones you got correct). This will be tedious but it will pay off!!!
