Hi, I represented my state in the national sports meet held in my country( India) in squash.
I wanted to ask a few questions:
1. How do I contact coaches??
2. Do the coaches need to see me playing??
3. Do I need to send the colleges my certificates to prove that I indeed represented my state.
4. Is being a state player representing at nationals is enough to get recruited??

Email them. You can find emails on schools’ websites.

Usually, yes, they will ask for videos of your play. I’m not sure if that counts for squash. You could also have some of your coaches contact them to talk about your play.

No, I don’t think so.

Probably, but what will get you recruited is unfortunately not just based on your level of talent, but academic capabilities as well.

Have you played any international tournaments? What is your squash rating? National ranking? Have players from your club applied to schools in US? There are many international squash recruits. What year do you expect to enroll?
