Urgent question. Please.

Hi,

So I have applied to this college for admission in fall 2009, and I wrote on my app I like to play squash. Now thiis college sends me an email for further information, and I tell them I am largely a casual player and have participated in a few club level competitions only. Now they have sent me a recruitment form.

What do I do? I actually dont know much about the US system I am international. Why would they want to "recruit" a "casual" player?

If its a good school go with it. Maybe you can get a scholarship. I don't know why they'd recruit a casual player, but then again squash isn't exactly the most popular sport here in the U.S.

This is pretty standard. They want to find out more about your interest and ability in squash. If the coach thinks you're up to standard and interested in playing intercollegiately, then there might be a tip with admissions. If not, it's simply an activity that adds to the college's vision of you.
