<p>Say you live very far away from UNC, and have to take plane to get to UNC, which airport would you use and how would you get to UNC from that airport?</p>
<p>Try RDU (Raleigh/Durham International Airport). It's the closest airport around the UNC area.</p>
<p>tomahawk: RDU would be the airport, as stated above. You'd probably need to take a taxi to the campus, or rent a car and drive there. The campus is only about 15-20 minutes from the airport, depending on how heavy the traffic is. If you're staying in a nearby hotel, they might have an airport/hotel shuttle van that will take you there. Unless you're staying at a hotel in town, within walking distance to campus, you'd still need a car (rental or a taxi) to get to the campus.</p>
