How to I rescind GRE Score Request?

Thanks for replying to my threads. Here is the background. This forum gave many insights for My son’s college journey.

He asked ETS to send GRE score to school.

As he realized about bad reputation of the Program, he sent an email to ETS to suspend/rescind this request.from the

ETS says, it cannot be done. The request is sitting on the queue.

They say, it cannot be pulled from the queue.

What kind of system ETS has? Consumer can change their mind.

What are the avenues he has to challenge ETS?

Will consumer protection help him?

Why does it matter? If the student doesn’t want to apply to the program anymore, he can just choose not to apply or withdraw his application if he already started. The program having his GRE scores won’t force him to apply.

What kind of ‘consumer protection’ are you talking about? I don’t think there’s any government agency that’s going to force the ETS not to send these scores to the school, and even if there was, by the time you got them to do anything the scores will already have been sent.
