I currently have a 29 on the act. Is it possible to improve to a 34?
Of course it is! I got a 34, because of hours of practice. Take as many practice tests as possible and you’ll improve your score.
I take practice tests, but get the same score over and over and don’t really see improvment.
I don’t really have a strategy for the science and reading sections. I find those to be the most difficult
Have you used the ACT Red Book? That has actual practice tests from ACT. My daughter found it useful to read the black book that goes along with the red book. It shows tricks for the reading section. I can’t guarantee improvements, but it did help her to take the practice tests, read through what she got wrong and use the black book along with it. Her reading improved to a 32.
Yea, thats what i have been using.
My reading is at a 28 unfortunately now
I had the same issues. I used Sanderson Test Prep and improved from a 28 to a 34. The tutoring really helped me focus on some of the smaller things that made a huge difference in my score. Also, I took lots of practice tests to get better with time. Set an alarm and stick to it. Do as many books as you can find. You will keep getting better the more you practice. Good luck! It’s a pain but totally worth it
