So, I'm a sophomore in high school right now.
I don't go to the greatest high school, it's very large, and it isn't regarded to be a top notch school. But what a lot of people don't understand is that while the CP classes are jokes, (the state of New Jersey took out general, so now every class is CP it's the lowest level) anyways, while CP is a joke, the honors & AP classes are extremely difficult.

So I'm not stupid. I know that right now, I have no chance into getting into Duke.

I'm Indian, idk if that matters.
My GPA is 91.6, so about a 3.7 unweighted.
We haven't gotten our ranks yet, but I think I'd be about 40/700+ students (again, I know that it's not great)
As of now for EC I have:

Cheerleading

Academic Deca.

Knights of Pythag. (math club)

Very little volunteer work

The Bigger Picture (its like a volunteer club)

Awards that I've gotten:

I scored in the top 10 for a statewide science league biology exam last year.

So I know it's not a lot, I know my stats are **** right now.

I plan on trying out for the musical and getting a role. (I'm actually good at that, go figure =p)
I want to join several more clubs, as well as start a couple of my own. I don't know if i'll be able to, because of the budget cuts and yeah just a whole bunch of crap.
I want to do tons of volunteer work, which I'm going to start doing.
I'd like to get a job, if possible.
I might want to join a sport, like a legit sport, not cheerleading lol
& I want to raise my GPA to a 3.9 unweighted, which is about a 95-97 I think.

Anyways, yeah. What advice do you guys have? What should I do, because DUke is my dream school and I really screwed up freshman year. I didn't do so great. Anyways yeah, thanks guys. :)
