How to improve on math section of SAT???

I’ve only just started my SAT prep last week but I already see that math is a huge weakness for me.
So far:
Writing: 720
Reading: 670
Math: 550

I have 3 months until I take the SAT and I’m aiming for Ivies so I have a long way to go until I achieve the score I want (above 2200)

So how can I improve my math quickly? Are there good tactics or practice books for this?

PWN The SAT’s math guide helped me… But I’m stuck in the 730s-750s so IDK if it’s going to be enough by itself for you…

First, figure out where your weaknesses are. Are you getting mostly geometry questions wrong? Maybe algebra? At this point, dont focus too much on raising your score. Focus more on relearning the material that you struggle. Then, you should take practice tests (I liked the CB Official blue book), but make sure to go back and check which ones you got wrong and why. A few weeks before the actual test, go over every single incorrect answer and try to solve each one again.

A good tactic is to use your graphing calculator and just plug in numbers for some of the hard word problems that just use variables.

Good luck
