i am practicing for the sat's and my goal is to break a 2200. I make careless mistakes in math and my score ends up in the high 600's. I practiced a lot for CR and my score finally hit 600 flat. how do i break 700? and for writing, i alamost always miss like 5-6 spot the errors and 2-3 paragraph imp. i usually get about 620- 660 in writing. how do i improve? and avoid these carelss mistakes.

Drills. Drills. Drills. You have to sit there, pull late nights, and study. I had the same problem with the careless math mistakes, and math was my weakest subject on the SAT. I got a 2100 overall, but math was my lowest. So I focused on just doing the practice math sections in SAT practice books and timed myself. Practice makes perfect!

I concur with the statement above. Just adding a little more studying in a day can prove as helpful in the long run.
