How to improve...

Okay, my grades are usually from 85 to around 88. and I believe my current GPA is 3.0- 3.3. I am in my 2nd semester of my sophomore year and am beginning to ty harder to improve my grades. What should I do to create good study habits and succeed in my grades? Also, my high school, Brooklyn College Academy, is closely assiociated to Brooklyn College. In my Junior and Senior years, I will be able to take college credit courses, possibly 30-35 is you work hard. I then plan on going to Brooklyn college for a Pre- Med degree, or a Pre- Law and then try to go to a more notable school, like Cornell, Columbia, etc., and advance my degree and knowledge. Is this a plausible plan. Thank you for your opinions.

Only you know best what study habits will work, it’s really about trying a bunch of things and figuring it out. A good start is to figure out what type of learner you are, meaning do you remember things best when they are spoken, written, or read? That can help you figure out how to study, also finding the right place, most of the time studying in your typical places leads to distraction, so try going out somewhere (library, park, cafe, etc.) and see if you can concentrate better there. You can talk to teachers too, see what extra work they would recommend, if they will go over papers before they’re due with you, what areas they see you need to focus on. You sound like you really do want to do better, although a B+ isn’t a bad starting place, if you work hard and get involved you might not have to start out at the local college but instead go to a more reputable school which could eventually improve your chances of a top college.
Hope that helps!

Yeh I was considering saving up some money and maybe taking some summer college courses at Cornell, Harvard, and maybe NYU. Also do you have any opinions on some great Scholorship oppurtunities.
