How To Increase GPA? (Urgent)

Hello everyone I am a uk student doing the IB, its been 2 semesters and I've completely screwed it up. Also my results from grade 9 are not good since I never quite studied for exams, I'm thinking of sitting for the APs myself, I have a couple questions for you Americans :D

~~ For Americans ~~

** Say if your school does AP, then you go out and take some other exams say UK A-Levels, does it count to your GPA?

** If you took another test apart from your school e.g. uk A levels and obtained decent scores, can you apply yourself as home schooled, and only submit your "nice" scores instead of your poor school results?

** If your home-schooled, where will you get your academic referees and recommendation letters

Ugh this is tough, please help me! Any advice is WELCOMED.

If you attend a school, you’re not homeschooled. You CAN however note that you self-studied for some AP exams (and provide your score to show how successful you were).
If you’re from Britain, you’ll need to provide your GCSE results as well as your A’Level OR IB predicted scores, including AS results if relevant. That will form the basis of your GPA.
