Basically, my first half of the test is flawless, and I'm on my way to an awesome score. But then by the second half, I start slowing down, I start making really stupid mistakes, so stupid that when I go back to see what mistake I make, I wonder to myself "What was I thinking???"
If only Collegeboard would score the first half of my test and double my score...
Any tips to increase speed and accuracy during the second half?

I had the exact same problem as you… The only way I could fix it was basically with practice. Although they are hidden, certain patterns do exist on these tests and once you subconsciously familiarize with them you’ll avoid their traps.
Other than that I think that the most important factor in avoiding careless mistakes is getting a good night sleep, eating well (dried fruit help me a lot), and being relaxed on the test. I try to see it as a game while I am doing it and it helps to lower nervousness.

Hope something helps
