How to "leave" your old school?

<p>Hello, I'm new. </p>

<p>I am an undergrad student and I got admitted to another school as a transfer student. What I'd like to know what are the procedures for departing your previous school, if there were any. </p>

<p>Did you just transfer to your new school without notifying your old school and hope they take the hint once they realized you were not enrolled that semester? Did you call their offices and say "I'm leaving"?</p>

<p>Pretty sure every school has its own policy. You’ll probably have to contact the school to move your records. Check your school’s policy</p>

<p>Check their withdrawal policy and file the appropriate forms to depart “cleanly”, so that you do not get any additional bills, and so that you can leave open the possibility of returning later if the school you transfer to does not work out.</p>
