Okay, so in my Physics club our president brought up the idea of making the club more inclusive by making it into a STEM club. I'm not exactly sure because I've googled for an hour or so on how to make this happen with college students, but is there an official process/membership that one needs to obtain before they can make a STEM club at their college? Or can you just start it on your own? I can't seem to find an official process for college students.

I think the process of starting a club depends on the school you go to. I know at my school you need to have so many signatures and, I think, a professor that is willing to vouch for the club.

Also, just out of shear curiosity, what in the world would you do in a STEM club? I have a hard time imagining what a CS student and an Animal Science student would have in common.
