how to not send ACT?

My ACT score is 27-28, and i took it twice and got about the same each time. I don’t wanna send it cause its kinda low. How do I not send this? Do I just not include it on the common app at all, or do I include it and just not send the official score report? Thank you guys!

You are not required to list scores in the common app. Also, most colleges allow you to send whatever tests you want to send and withhold others.

It is only if you are applying to a college that has an all scores rule that you may be required to provide both tests. There are a small number of colleges that require you to send all ACT scores and thus you need to do so to comply with the college’s rule.

You should note, however, that even if you withhold tests by not identifying them in the common app and not ordering offical scores sent by the testing agency, you can still face a risk that the college will learn of your scores. That is because many high schools put all your scores on the offical transcript sent to colleges that provides your grades. Thus, you need to check what your high school provides on the transcriptt before deciding to withhold any scores.
