I can’t speak to BU specifically…but you DO realize that lots of schools don’t met need? And basically all won’t meet what YOU think your need is.
This is not a situation that will get better, only worse. Good luck to you, I know this isn’t what you want to hear.
You can’t afford this school. Withdraw completely (from classes, the dorms, and the meal plan), then cancel or return the loan. Apply to schools that you can afford with the federal student loan (~$5500/year), summer work earnings (~$3k/year), and any merit grants you qualify for based on your stats.
There is no financial aid form that says someone who has a 50k income with little assets gets only $5K a year. Something is WRONG. What did the NPC say? What aid did you get from other schools? Are you a freshman?
How did the parents even get a 65K loan on a 50K income?
