when I sign into my SIS account there is a "pay deposit" hyperlink, but when I click it I am taken to a page where it says "pay deposit" and it isn't hyperlinked...Uhhh how am I supposed to pay the 400 dollars?

for anyone with the same problem, I fixed it by enabling popups

Actually, I do have another question: is it possible to pay by check? my dad doesn’t want to pay an e-check and you can’t pay by visa. What address would I send it to?

An e-check IS a check. Enter the routing and account numbers, just like on tax returns. All payments are handled through the system.

I found this statement on the website, but you need to call Student Financial Services to figure out what has to be done.

DoinSchool, You have 4 years of payments ahead of you. Using echecks will make things much easier for you. We did 4 straight years with UVa and now using echecks with second son at VT. Never had a problem and you get a confirmation . Much easier than sending a paper check, hoping it gets there, waiting to see if it has been posted, etc. I hope your dad will reconsider an echeck . Congratulations on making the decision to go to UVa. I’ll bet you’ll have a blast!

Hey sevmom he can be kind of stubborn like that but I will definitely pass on to him that e-checks are more convenient. thanks.

As a parent of two UVa students I can say that e-check is the way to go. I pay tuition, extra plus dollars, books and anything else they charge to their student account. Makes it much easier and you can print off a receipt for your records if you need it. There is no interest or any other charges you incur using other payment options.
