How to prepare for SAT II Physics

Does the princeton review book help at all? For those of you who've taken it, what are the best review books that will help maximize scores?

Princeton Review book is the best source to prepare for physics. Tests are most accurate. But it is not easy to read and understand if you do not already have a solid knowledge.
If you are relatively new to physics – start with Kaplan prep book. It is easier to read and understand new concepts, but it will not give you all material in depths that is required for the test. So, you should still continue with PR book after Kaplan.

What do you think about Barron's, as opposed to The Princeton Review?

Barron's is very intense regardless of what you're using it for. Generally, PR is good for review, and its tests, I agree, will be closer to your final results. If you feel your basic understanding of physics is established, and you want to really challenge yourself, then Barron's would be the training that would push you. For me, I like Barron's because you'll usually have a much higher score on the real test than what you score on the practice tests (650 can literally mean 800), at least for the purposes of non history/life sciences. Do be aware, however, that if you're even somewhat unsure of the topics, then you'd best be reviewing the other books.
