I'm currently using Barron's for my SAT II Physics prep and I did A-Level Physics in high school. I noticed that one of the major differences is the variables used in formulas making understand them that much harder. I also found that even though I did A-Level physics, that the book itself was pretty difficult to get through. I was wondering if it's still good practice for the actual exam. If it's that it over prepares you for it, I wouldn't mind, I just wanted to know everyone's overall view of the book and its practice tests.

Barron’s physics is not similar to the real test, at all. Although I found it clearer in explanations and in details than Cracking the SAT Physics, it doesn’t cover all materials and is not enough for the test. You have to get CTS if you want 750+

self studied in the summer, mainly based on the Princeton Cracking the SAT Physics, helped by a digital version of Barron’s and I got 800 in Oct. I found Princeton Review particularly good for Calc, Physics and Chemistry.
