How to rank engineering majors, from hardest to easiest?

Majors being: civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, bioengineering, nuclear, aerospace.

Thanks!

I’d say, from hardest to easiest:

Chemical, bioengineering, electrical, nuclear, aerospace, mechanical, civil

But it all depends on the school.

I don’t know if there’s a way to say which is “hardest” and which is “easiest”. Engineering is just tough in general, it’s not like comparing engineering/architecture and communications/english

There has to be some order to it though. I mean it can’t be all engineering majors are equal in difficulty. Just like engineering is harder than english, one engineering field has to be harder than the other. Give me something!

There was already a 29 page discussion about this.

Moose (Happy) Tracks
Mint Chocolate Chip
Chocolate
Vanilla
Rocky Road

Of course, these are just my favorite flavors and it only counts for ice cream. Gelato or froyo changes things.

I recently had Natural Peach ice cream…yum!

I recently acquired a pint of Fudge-Brownie. Delicious!! :)

they’re all easy. fact: engineers don’t make a lot of money because it is easy and a worthless occupation. while engineering students are j/o-ing over how smart they are, the invisible hand is punching them in the mouth.

just looked at that thread, and from what i’ve gathered from it, it seems the hardest major is Mint Chocolate Chip, indeed that’s quite a handful for even the most brightest of padawans, but in my experience, i’ve come to know that Cheesecake and Banana would trump all majors, be it engnieering physics chemistry or comp science. period.

You’re all wrong. It goes like this:

Canadian Bacon Pistachio
Chocolate Lemon Chicken
Cookies ‘n’ Cream Cheddar Cheese
French Vanilla Pork

Despite your best effort, french vanilla pork actually sounds kind of good.

To be honest, only Cookies ‘n’ Cream Cheddar Cheese is really a non-starter. The rest are worth a taste and might even be great.

And seriously - who would major in Cheesecake and Banana? If you were serious about that sort of thing you would clearly major in Lemon Meringue.

Indeed cosmicfish indeed, but from what i’ve seen alot of Lemon Meringue majors take it as a bitter pill to swallow after getting a tangy taste of said major, hence Cheesecake and Banana wins flat out. it’s pretty sweet for those who major in it, as well as marketable, in the sense that you has the ability to analyze the mechanics of cylindrical bananas and their relation to the lubricating properties of the Cheesecake. Needless to say, alot can be learned from this, hence trumping the sour concept of studying Lemons.
